Michael and William special school private reports

As most people who know us will know we have raised money for many charities and a few personal fundraisers. And it really kills us to have to be the ones asking for help. Michael and William are 6 years old and both autistic. William also has rare genetic disorder which Michael is now being tested for.

In our opinion Both boys require special school which is agreed by most people who know us. We feel like the system isn't offering enough help as they are being offered 1 hour a day 1 to 1. They are being kept in Mainstream school that we think can no longer meet the boys needs. Michael is currently at 2-3year old William is about 3-3½year-old.

Upon taking advice from people who have been where we are now. We have taking the difficult decision to go down the private route to have more in depth assessments and reports done to be able to apply to have more help and support that our special little boys really do need. 

Unfortunately the cost of these private assessments is just over £3500. As we need both boys assessed by occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists. We have been fighting the system for diagnosis and extra help for around 4 years for Michael and we are back at the start for William. It really is a long and difficult process. 

Can anyone find it in their hearts to please help out us as a desperate family in need. Who cannot afford the large costs involved in getting our boys the support they so desperatly need and deserve.
