In loving memory of Vinod Kalugotla

I am shocked and deeply saddened that a dear friend of mine Vinod Kalugotla lost his battle with covid at a very young age on May 21st 2021. He was only 39 years!
Personally, I am yet to come to terms at this loss, and I simply cannot imagine how his young family will cope with this loss. Vinod is leaving behind his wife (Gayathri, 31 years old, housewife) and son (Rishi) who is only 9 years and perhaps too young to even understand this situation.
It hurts my heart to see Vinod been taken away from this world at such a young age. He was such a friendly, helping, sociable and likeable person. He used to live in Milton Keynes and worked for ICAEW and Santander as a Senior Test Analyst for almost 15 years. He was very active member of MK Community and done lots of services to the needy. He was very passionate about photography and used to volunteer to take photos at many events (including birthday events, cultural events, baby showers, etc) and through his passion for photography he has captured some of the best memories for many families in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.
Vinod’s story really brings tears to my eyes… Vinod had lost his father at a very young age. So while he was in UK, he used to support his mother remotely who lived in India on her own. Vinod decided to move to India (Bangalore) 3 years ago to stay closer to his mother. Life is sometimes very unfair. After moving back to India and just when things were getting settled again in his life, unfortunately fate had different plans. He was a true warrior because even during his last days he continued his battle against covid. He lost his Sister (Raajeswari, 41 years) due to covid in Feb 2021 and few months later his mother (67 years) and aunt (63 years) got infected with covid. Unfortunately, one week ago his mother lost her battle and breathed her last in the arms of Vinod. And then, within 2 days his aunt passed away. Exactly one week after he lost his mother, Vinod too passed away due to covid.
It really breaks my heart to hear that his entire family members – Vinod’s sister, Vinod’s mother, Vinod’s aunt, and Vinod all four – lost their lives within a span of few months.
I am creating this gofundme page to raise some money to support his wife (Gayathri) and son (Rishi). I would appreciate your support if you could please help me raise GBP 50,000 for their family. Although this contribution unfortunately won't bring my friend (and human being) back to life, at least it could help their family.
