Giving a Helping Hand To Sophia With a bit of fun

Sophia is a brave, beautiful 3 year old girl who has had a tough first 3 years of her life. Sophia has Tracheobronchomalacia (TBM), this is a rare condition that occurs when the walls of the airway (specifically the trachea and bronchi) are weak. This can cause the airway to become narrow or collapse. Sophia has to use her CPAP ventilator whenever she sleeps, gets tried after playing or when unwell, she also needs it in the pram and travelling in the car seat. She takes it all within her stride & never makes a fuss about it.
Sadly Sophia also has other very complex medical needs, she spends more time in hospital than home & the family have travelled 3 times a day to FPH for treatment, weeks on end.
Sophia needs regular blood transfusions, most the time weekly, she has immunoglobulin therapy & has GCSF treatment 3 times a week to her fight infections as she catches infections all the time, she rarely is off antibiotics.
Despite all this she is amazing, happy little girl ❤️

Sophia is in need of a specialist pram as she has outgrown her current one, she needs room for the oxygen, sats monitor & ventilation but she also needs to be able to lay flat.
On 2nd March she is having a Hickman line fitted at her specialty hospital GOSH, the family are desperate to get her a dry suit so that she can enjoy baths and swimming like any little girl should as she has missed out on so much in her little life.

As you can  Imagine Sophia’s mum Is unable to work due to the extensive care and appointments she has to have . This can make expensive equipment  Like this impossible for them to purchase personally . Travel Alone For Sophia’s appointments can cost them at least £150 a week ! 

We need your help to help make this all a little better for Sophia and her family ... 

SO ...  Bobby and Annabelle ( Sophia's sister and Bobby’s girlfriend ;) ) 
will be raising awareness and Raising money for  Sophia’s equipment needed ! 

They will Be completing a homemade obstacle course on Saturday 6th March which will include -

• egg and spoon race 

• sack race 

•Skipping 

•tunnels 

•ladder ropes 

•water balloon activity 

the list goes on .... 

a little fun but for something so so important
