Worthing Hospital Bluefin ward

As many of you already know Mikey was born with a mulitcystic right kidney that was found at our 20 week scan, after he was born we noticed his right eye wasn't developing as well as his left, this led to multiple hospital visits and we found out he was blind in that eye.
The childrens ward at worthing hospital have been a live saver for myself and my family this year and will continue to be while my child is under their care. 
The doctors are compassionate and understanding, the nurses have been such a comfort through such a difficult time. 
I cannot thank them enough for their care of not just my son but also myself and my husband. 
The NHS are so underfunded and they have worked so hard throughout a pandemic, they're exhausted but we are still always met with kindness and a reassuring smile. 
It isn't much but I want to do all I can to thank the people who are making my sons life a little bit better.

On may 1st 2020 myself and a few others will be walking from brighton pier to worthing. This is a 13 mile walk and will take roughly 3 and a half hours to complete!
