As you may already know, our beautiful Jamie-Lee lost her battle to cancer recently. She fought tremendously hard with courage, positivity, dignity and strength until the very end. Jamie-Lee endured the most horrendous journey that cancer is, but she also was put through so much more heartache, finding out she had cancer whilst pregnant with baby James-Lee. Jamie-Lee was diagnosed with breast cancer, to which she had hoped with treatment, she would have a beautiful new baby boy and be cancer free within in a year. Devastatingly, this was not the case. Following more tests, results showed that Jamie-Lee had secondary breast cancer to the bones or metastatic breast cancer, incurable :( This, devastatingly lead to the loss of their beautiful baby boy, to enable Jamie-Lee to receive treatment to help prolong her beautiful life as long as possible. Jamie-Lee endured more obstacles along her journey, operation to pin her femur due to the damage that the cancer had caused, infections, incl sepsis, to which we nearly lost her then, but Jamie fought back, as she always did, never giving up and 'putting on her big girls pants' - ( Jamie's words) ready for her next battle.
As I'm sure you can all appreciate, 28 years old is heartbreakingly young, for your time to be up. There was so much more that Jamie-lee and Connor had planned, to make the most wonderful memories for Grace, Jack and Phoebe. The kind that would last them a lifetime, the kind that they could close their eyes, remember and their hearts smile. However, she was taken away so much sooner than anyone could have imagined.
For this reason we thought it would be a wonderful tribute to Jamie-Lee if we could help raise some money for Grace, Jack and Phoebe to have experiences in their Mother's memory. This will also help them whilst dealing with such a deep, raw grief for their Mammy.
Any little amount you can give, is truly appreciated and received with so much gratitude.
Once this page closes, I wil present Jamie-Lees mum, Susan with all funds, to enable her to make plans, book and take Jamie-Lees three kiddies on their adventures in memory of their mummy. I set about creating this page, being Jamie-Lees auntie and hearing how Jamie-Lee wanted to take Grace,Jack and Phoebe to many places, to do activities such as horse riding etc and how could I help make this happen. I approached an amazing friend whom put the wheel in motion , using her online business , eats and treats , and advertising hampers to raise funds. I was contacted following this, by family, friends, colleagues just wanting to donate money to this worthy cause .
